Recruitment process

• Brief Call: A brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you, learn about your motivations, and ensure we have the right job for you.
• Interviews: Typically around 3 interviews, depending on the level of seniority. You will meet your line manager and other colleagues related to the future role. We discuss your experience and skills, the position, and what will be expected of you, while sharing our culture and career opportunities.
• Case study: Depending on the position, you may be asked to take a test such as a role play, technical assessment, or
  - solving scenario.
• Process note: The process may vary slightly; we aim to adapt to each candidate to provide the best possible experience.

Job description

Find your place at Amaris Consulting as a QA Automation Engineer for one of our main partners, for a hybrid position based in Portugal.

As a QA Automation Engineer at Amaris, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks. You will collaborate closely with developers and project teams to ensure the delivery of reliable,
- quality software solutions.

What will you do?

• Design and maintain automation frameworks (e. g. , Selenium, Test
  NG, Cypress).
• Write and execute test scripts for web, mobile, or API testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e. g. , Jenkins, Git
  Lab).
• Analyze test results and report defects.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
• Optimize tests for efficiency and coverage.
• Document test cases and update based on evolving features.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to QA strategy.

What we want

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience in software testing, including at least 1 year in automation testing.
• Experience with programming languages: Java, Python, C#.
• Experience with automation tools: Selenium, Appium, Rest Assured.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber (a plus).
• Understanding of performance testing tools: JMeter, Load
  Runner.
• Knowledge of cloud testing platforms such as AWS Device Farm, Azure Test Plans.
• Familiarity with containerization tools: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Good English communication skills.
