Description:

This position will require:

• Two days per week presence at our offices
• Portuguese and English fluence.
• Banking functional knowledge is a plus.
• Java knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

• Build and improve robust, reusable test automation frameworks.
• Implement and execute functional, integration, and API tests.
• Collaborate closely with developers and other QA professionals to ensure
  - quality.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to integrate testing into the software development lifecycle and the CI/CD pipeline.
• Analyse and report bugs, providing clear documentation and test evidence.
• Work with data formats such as Excel and CSV for test input/output.
• Stay updated with the latest QA methodologies and tools to enhance testing processes.

Professional Knowledge and Expertise

• 4+ years of experience as a QA automation engineer.
• Proven experience working with BDD and Gherkin test case languages
• Experience with web application backend testing and Continuous Integration processes.
• Familiarity with version control, defect tracking, and test management tools (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA).
• Basic Java language knowledge
• Knowledge of SQL/No
  SQL databases.
• Experience in the use of CI/CD platforms and Kubernetes.
• ISTQB is a plus.

Functional Knowledge

• Knowledge of financial instruments (stocks, bonds, financial derivatives, options, etf, etc)
• Good understanding of settlement and clearing activity (pre-trade,
  - exchange, otc)
• Good understanding of settlement and clearing ecosystem (CCP, CSD, Clearer, Broker, Custodian,
• Notions of settlement cycle (match, affirm, settle, deliver, etc)
• Notions of counterparty risk management methodologies (SPAN/V@R)
