Description:
This position will require:
- Two days per week presence at our offices
- Portuguese and English fluence.
- Banking functional knowledge is a plus.
- Java knowledge is a plus
Responsibilities
- Build and improve robust, reusable test automation frameworks.
- Implement and execute functional, integration, and API tests.
- Collaborate closely with developers and other QA professionals to ensure
- quality. - Collaborate with developers and product managers to integrate testing into the software development lifecycle and the CI/CD pipeline.
- Analyse and report bugs, providing clear documentation and test evidence.
- Work with data formats such as Excel and CSV for test input/output.
- Stay updated with the latest QA methodologies and tools to enhance testing processes.
Professional Knowledge and Expertise
- 4+ years of experience as a QA automation engineer.
- Proven experience working with BDD and Gherkin test case languages
- Experience with web application backend testing and Continuous Integration processes.
- Familiarity with version control, defect tracking, and test management tools (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA).
- Basic Java language knowledge
- Knowledge of SQL/No
SQL databases. - Experience in the use of CI/CD platforms and Kubernetes.
- ISTQB is a plus.
Functional Knowledge
- Knowledge of financial instruments (stocks, bonds, financial derivatives, options, etf, etc)
- Good understanding of settlement and clearing activity (pre-trade,
- exchange, otc) - Good understanding of settlement and clearing ecosystem (CCP, CSD, Clearer, Broker, Custodian,
- Notions of settlement cycle (match, affirm, settle, deliver, etc)
- Notions of counterparty risk management methodologies (SPAN/V@R)
