ACENSI Portugal is Hiring: QA Automation Tester (Mandatory requirement of being located in Lisbon or surrounding area)

We are strengthening our Automation Testing Competence Center, supporting the digital squads of ACENSI Portugal in ensuring the quality, reliability, and end‑to‑end automation of their digital platforms.

What You Will Do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests (UI, API, integration, component, unit)
• Apply Shift‑Left, 3 Amigos, and ISTQB‑aligned best practices
• Ensure full requirements coverage and early defect detection
• Contribute to CI/CD integration and continuous improvement of automation frameworks
• Support the migration from Legacy systems to new platforms, ensuring zero regressions

Future Vision (AI & Automation)

You will also contribute to the evolution toward AI‑assisted testing, including:

• LLM‑based test generation
• AI‑driven test maintenance and optimization
• Developer productivity tools such as Cursor

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer
• Strong knowledge of API and integration testing (set up stubs and mocks, in particular using Microks)
• Strong knowledge in E2E testing
• Hands‑on experience with Shift‑Left, 3 Amigos, and ISTQB principles
• Experience working in Agile environments and complex systems

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience, with a deep focus on automation testing
• Exposure to AI or LLM‑based tools
