About the Role
As a QA Engineer within our Agile teams, you ensure
- quality software deliveries in each sprint. You blend
- on testing (both automated and exploratory) with advisory and coaching to foster a "quality
- inˮ mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Test
Strategy&Planning
- Define
- based test strategies tailored to Agile sprints and CI/CD pipelines. - Advise on
- left testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD). - Collaborating with the team to design and execute test plans that verify both critical processes and frequently used user flows, particularly during releases, major updates, or other significant system changes.
Test Execution
- Develop and maintain automated tests (UI, API, integration) using tools like Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, REST-assured, and Cucumber.
- Perform manual and exploratory testing (e. g. , Session-Based Test Management) to validate user scenarios.
Devops & CI/CD Integration
- Integrate tests into Git
Hub Actions, Azure Dev
Ops, or similar pipelines. - Set up reproducible test environments.
Collaboration & Coaching
- Work closely with developers for
- development pairing. - Coach team members on test case standards, BDD/Specification by Example, and quality awareness.
- Manage stakeholders including Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and occasional C-level contacts.
Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Sharing
- Provide feedback during sprint reviews and retrospectives.
- Share insights via internal workshops, blog posts, or conference meetups.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- +4 years of experience in both manual and automated testing within Agile/Dev
Ops environments. - Proficiency with test automation tools:Cypress, Playwright, Postman, REST- assured, Katalon, or equivalents.
- (Some) experience with LLM testing ("Evals")
- Programming knowledge in Java
Script/Type
Script, Python, or C#. - Deep understanding of Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban) and CI/CD workflows.
- Experience with

- native testing (Docker, Testcontainers). - Excellent communication and coaching skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with performance testing (JMeter, K6)
- Experience with Security testing (OWASP ZAP)
- Familiarity with Contract testing (Pactflow).
- Familiarity with Git
Ops and Infrastructure as Code.
