QA Engineer Porto

Overview

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team in the Porto Metropolitan Area.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and execute test plans
• Validate data quality, consistency, and performance across legacy and new platforms
• Conduct regression and data comparison tests
• Collaborate with development, data engineering, and QA teams
• Document test cases and results (XRAY, JIRA, Confluence)
• Contribute to QA best practices
• Proven QA experience with a focus on data platforms
• Strong SQL skills (queries, joins, aggregations, performance)
• Experience with data pipelines in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e. g. , Jenkins, Git
  Lab)
• Familiarity with testing frameworks for data quality
• Bonus: experience with Airflow, Flink, Spark; Python/Java; Linux/shell scripting
• Strong communication skills in English
