• DECSKILL CONNECT through which we provide our client with consulting services, as well as the implementation and management of information technology infrastructures.

We are searching for a QA Lead:

Responsibilities:

• Lead, with technical oversight from the Product Lead Architect. Their focus will be on product testing, but they’ll also support testing of
  - specific solutions (which are built by configuring our
  - configurable platform).
• Here’s what we need this person to do:
• Define and roll out a pragmatic QA strategy covering backend, frontend, and performance — the platform is
  - driven, highly async, and built around orchestrated services rather than simple request/response flows.
• Take ownership of growing backend test coverage — we already have decent coverage across microservices and APIs, but we want to scale it more consistently and rapidly.
• Kick off UI test automation — we currently have no automation on the frontend, so we need to select tools, define the approach, and start building coverage while maintaining some manual testing in the meantime.
• Improve performance and stress testing — our priority is often on stress testing to understand system limits under
  - world orchestration volumes, rather than traditional response time benchmarks.
• Be
  - on and help build a small team (likely 1–3 people) to execute the strategy and embed QA into how we build, configure, and release the platform.
• We’re looking for someone dependable, proactive, and
  - oriented — a strong critical thinker who can work through ambiguity, make pragmatic decisions, and get things moving without
  - engineering.
• We’re also looking for 1–3 QA Engineers to join our team as we scale up our product and solutions delivery. You’ll be working under the guidance of our new QA Practice Lead and integrated into one of our Product or Solutions squads, depending on where the need is highest.

Requirements:

• Someone who’s comfortable writing and maintaining automated tests — either for backend APIs, frontend UIs, or ideally both (depending on your experience).
• Willingness to do manual testing where needed, especially for the frontend, while we build out our automation coverage.
• Curiosity and attention to detail when testing complex,
  - driven systems — this isn’t just clicking buttons or calling APIs; our platform runs on data flows, async orchestration, and smart automation.
• A good communicator who’s happy working closely with developers, product owners, and solution designers to test both core product features and
  - specific configurations.
• Most importantly, someone who’s dependable, eager to learn, pragmatic, and able to work through ambiguity to help us ship quality software.
• Good level of english.
