QA Manual Tester with Reinsurance experience

We are looking for an experienced QA Tester on the Aon Reinsurance QA team with manual testing experience. In this role, the QA Tester should have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication, be competent in executing test cases, and passionate about quality. Ultimately, the QA Tester will ensure that our products, applications, and systems work correctly.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and analyzing features and user stories to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.
• Identify test requirements from specifications, document detailed, comprehensive and
  - structured test cases and test scenarios for functional and regression testing.
• Collaborate with QA colleagues to develop effective strategies and test plans.
• Execute test cases and analyze results to ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
• Reporting and documenting defects.
• Review and maintain test cases for regression testing.
• Actively participate as a member of the Scrum team.
• Communicate any obstacles to raise awareness and avoid project impediments and overall project timeline disruption.
• Work closely with software developers and business analysts to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with Product Owner, Business Analysts, and Developers on tasks related to planning, testing, and coordination of release activities.
• Help troubleshoot issues and conduct
  - release/post-production testing.
• Adhere to the existing policies, processes, and procedures established for the Reinsurance Quality Assurance Team.

Minimum Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years testing experience.
• Ability to work independently and within a team setting with minimal direction/supervision.
• Ability to think strategically, demonstrating critical thought in a complex business environment.
• Demonstrate solid understanding of testing fundamentals.
• Demonstrate effective professional communication (written and verbal) skills.
• SQL Query experience.
• Strong understanding of the Standard Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Agile Training/Certification and/or Experience.
• Reinsurance Experience, preferred.
• Workflow Management Tool experience, TFS / Azure Dev
  Ops3.
• Functional testing 4/5, SQL 4/5, Reinsurance exp 3/5.
