They specialise in full turnkey data centre solutions — from design and construction through to commissioning — covering civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical disciplines.
With multiple
- scale data centre projects currently under construction across Europe, our client continues to be a trusted partner for major hyperscale and colocation customers.
They are now seeking an experienced QA/QC Lead to join their project team in Portugal.
Role Summary
The QA/QC Lead will oversee all quality assurance and quality control activities across a
- scale data centre project. This role ensures that all works are executed in line with the company’s integrated management systems while maintaining the highest standards of compliance, documentation and technical quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all site activities comply with the company’s Integrated Management System for Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements.
- Plan, coordinate and execute quality audits and inspections to verify quality control implementation.
- Ensure company quality policies are clearly communicated, understood and upheld by all site personnel.
- Develop and maintain
- specific Quality Plans in line with contractual and regulatory requirements. - Review and approve subcontractor quality systems, procedures and documentation to ensure alignment with project and company standards.
- Work collaboratively with the client’s QA/QC representatives to resolve potential or emerging quality issues.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to site teams to strengthen quality performance and ensure project deliverables are met.
- Monitor, report and escalate quality risks or
- conformances while driving continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years’ experience in a QA/QC or quality leadership role within the construction industry.
- Strong background across Commercial, Industrial, Pharmaceutical or Data Centre projects.
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience using Autodesk BIM360 Field or similar digital quality management tools.
- Demonstrated experience in team management, staffing and scheduling.
- Process-driven mindset with strong understanding of Quality Work Management Systems and methodologies.
- Excellent communication, documentation and stakeholder management skills.
