QA/QC Specialist - Civil Construction

Location: Sines, Portugal (Onsite, 5 days per week)

Project: Data Centre Construction

Permanent position: salary DOE + great benefits

We are seeking a QA/QC Specialist to join a
- profile data centre construction project based in Sines. This role is key to ensuring that all civil and structural works are executed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. You will work closely with project engineers, construction managers, and subcontractors to monitor, document, and verify that all construction processes align with technical specifications, client expectations, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee QA/QC procedures for all civil and structural works.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and testing to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Review and verify subcontractor documentation, ITPs, and method statements.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections,
  - conformances, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering and site teams to resolve
  - related issues efficiently.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and proactive quality management.

About You

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years' experience in QA/QC roles on civil or structural projects, ideally in data centre, industrial, or
  - scale infrastructure environments.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC processes, ISO standards, and inspection/testing procedures.
• Experience with concrete, steel structures, and groundworks.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English (Portuguese an advantage).
