Quality Analyst - Safety Model Operations - Italian (12 Month – Fixed-Term Contract)

We are looking for a Quality Analyst to support our Trust & Safety team in ensuring safe moderation of content on Tik
Tok in Italy.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality success of internal and external stakeholders in Trust & Safety.
• Identify and remove blockers to high performance and support teams in delivering excellence.
• Monitor performance, provide crucial reporting, and lead teams to growth.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to identify project needs and set SMART goals.
• Drive process improvements and develop best‑practice methodology for the QA role.
• Deliver high performance standards across all projects and develop a model for maintaining high performance.
• Facilitate regular calibration meetings to maintain quality standards and provide feedback.
• Disseminate policy updates and mediate policy questions between stakeholders.
• Perform daily audits, analyze errors, and provide feedback to teams.
• Compile performance data reports for SME and management.
• Conduct RCA escalations and identify areas for improvement.
• Lead policy briefings and ensure consistency with local cultural and political conditions.
• Balance efficient delivery across relevant platforms.
• Support temporary gaps in market support and onboarding.
• Participate in queue moderation and knowledge quizzes to maintain policy skills.
• Design and implement a training plan on timeline.

Qualifications

• 1+ year QA or trust and safety experience in a major tech or media company.
• Broad understanding of business needs and strategic thinking.
• Familiarity with business logic of labeling and upstream/downstream teams.
• High proficiency in Italian (written and oral). English proficiency required.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional partners.
• Fast learner comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in short‑video or media industry.
• Experience in content moderation, quality, safety or labeling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PPT, Excel, Word).
• Familiarity with machine learning and content understanding.
• Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
