Kautak Learning is looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our Technology team. You will be responsible for
- check procedures for our software products. As a Automation engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing the product features, designing test parameters, creating customized quality checks, and writing up test procedures.

The QA Tester works with the development team to debug code, correct errors, and troubleshoot any issues with software code. To ensure success as a test engineer, you should have
- depth knowledge of engineering and product design, a good eye for detail, and the ability to think out of the box.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing automation frameworks tailored to specific project architectures.
• Extensive experience with
  - driven testing utilizing external data sources such as Excel or Word files.
• Proficient in defining automation scope and selecting suitable tools according to project requirements.
• Adept at documenting comprehensive test plans, strategies, and test case designs.
• Specialized in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium with Java / Cucumber
• Experienced in authoring and managing functional, GUI, and regression test cases.
• Skilled in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools including Jenkins and Git.
• Thorough understanding of defect lifecycle management via JIRA or comparable test management solutions.
• Collaborative team member, engaging closely with QA and development teams for planning and reviewing tests.
• Conducts detailed UI validations covering fonts, layouts, and
  - level checks.
• Advanced command of automation execution and proficiency in troubleshooting test script failures.
• Exceptional documentation and analysis capabilities, encompassing requirement analysis, test execution reporting, and defect documentation.
• Comprehensive grasp of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and alignment with product business objectives.
• Actively collaborates with product and design teams to define testing parameters and expectations.
• Authors highly structured test scripts to ensure robust product coverage.
• Performs QA and performance testing, leveraging new methodologies and testing tools as appropriate.
• Monitors testing outcomes, documents issues, and proposes solutions to enhance product quality.
• Analyses test results, communicates defects to development teams, and facilitates prompt resolution.
• Provides continual feedback to developers, identifying improvements, risks, and supplementary testing needs.
• Troubleshoots errors and optimizes test execution processes for maximum efficiency.
• Executes regression testing subsequent to code changes or bug fixes.
• Prepares clear and informative test reports for stakeholders and management.
• Exhibits strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• 3–4 years’ automation testing experience
• Fluent in English and Portuguese
• Skilled in Java, Test
  NG, Selenium Web
  Driver, Cucumber, GITHUB branching, XPath, CSS selectors, dynamic element handling
• Familiar with Figma, Zeplin, Dev
  Tools, UI/UX validations, CI/CD automation testing
• Experienced in API testing (Postman or Rest
  Assured), database technologies (SQL, My
  SQL), multiple OS, virtualization, test environments
• Proficient in writing and automating test scripts, regression test suites, GUI, HTML & SEO checkpoints
• Strong analytical,
  - cause analysis,
  - solving, and
  - making abilities

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science

Experience:

• 3-4 years’ experience as Automation Engg.
