- car continuity and ongoing connectivity through our scalable and adaptable solutions. We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join us in tackling one of the greatest challenges in the automotive industry!

Overall responsibilities and duties:

• Collaborate with customers, product managers, and development teams to clarify and refine product requirements, ensuring they are testable and aligned with quality standards.
• Design, develop, and maintain detailed test scenarios and test cases based on system requirements and user stories.
• Execute tests across various environments, including prototypes, Android-based
  - car systems, and emulators to simulate
  - world usage.
• Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing to identify defects, inconsistencies, or performance issues.
• Document test results accurately, maintain detailed records, and create clear bug reports with actionable feedback.
• Participate in defect triage meetings, collaborate on root cause analysis, and suggest process and product improvements.
• Ensure daily adherence to the Forvia Code of Ethics, respecting human rights, promoting social dialogue, developing skills, and reporting infringements if necessary.
• Ensure daily compliance with the Forvia Code of Management, including business planning, execution, performance management, and ethics.
• Perform other related tasks as needed to support team and organizational goals.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in quality assurance, preferably in automotive or embedded software.
• Familiarity with Android-based systems and car emulator tools.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical,
  - solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e. g. , JIRA, Test
  Rail).
• Attention to detail and a passion for product quality and user experience.
