We are looking for a
- oriented and
- driven Software QA Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, executing, and maintaining test strategies and test cases across all stages of the software development lifecycle. This role is key to ensuring the delivery of
- quality identity management products to our clients.

Description
Our client is a leading provider of secure identity management solutions for governmental clients worldwide. They specialize in developing and delivering innovative platforms for biometric passports, ID cards, and related services. Their mission is to provide reliable, scalable, and secure solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define, implement, and maintain QA processes, test plans, and test cases.
- Analyze requirements and collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product managers to understand features and define testing scope.
2. Test Execution & Reporting:
- Perform manual and automated testing for web, API, and backend services.
- Track and report bugs, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Validate defect fixes and maintain regression test suites.
3. Test Automation:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using
- standard tools. - Contribute to the continuous integration pipeline by integrating automated test suites.
4. Compliance & Security Testing:
- Ensure compliance with quality standards including ISO/IEC 27001, OWASP, and GDPR.
- Conduct functional, performance, security, and user acceptance testing.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint reviews, retrospectives, and planning sessions.
- Continuously improve testing methodologies, documentation, and coverage.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Proficiency in writing and executing manual and automated test cases.
- Experience with QA tools such as Selenium, JMeter, Postman, Test
Rail, or similar. - Familiarity with REST APIs, databases (Postgre
SQL), and version control systems (Git). - Understanding of software development methodologies including Agile/Scrum.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical and
- solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Portuguese (Mandatory).
- Knowledge of biometric or identity management solutions is a plus.
