About the Opportunity

Our client is a
- established German company with over 20 years of market presence, serving more than 5, 000 clients across various industries. They have developed a sophisticated Saa
S platform focused on resilience and emergency management, supporting critical operations for organizations in
- stakes environments.

The current project involves building and enhancing
- critical Saa
S solutions that play a vital role in business continuity and emergency response.

As part of their strategic expansion, the company is planning to establish a European Center of Excellence in Central and Northern Portugal. To support this growth, we are looking for software engineers at various levels of seniority, with a strong focus on backend development using technologies such as. NET, Java, Python, or PHP.

This is a hybrid role, requiring regular office presence. This setup is essential to foster a strong team culture, provide structured training and mentorship, and ensure
- quality project delivery.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2-3 years of QA testing experience
• Experience with software development lifecycle and testing methodologies

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in manual testing techniques (knowledge of automation would be considered as a big plus)
• Knowledge of testing tools (Selenium, JIRA, Test
  Rail, or similar)
• Understanding of bug tracking and test case management systems
• Familiarity with API testing and database queries

Core Competencies

• Strong analytical and
  - solving abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to create comprehensive test plans and documentation
• Experience with regression, functional, and user acceptance testing
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes

Preferred Qualifications

• ISTQB certification or similar QA credentials
• Experience with performance and security testing
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Dev

• Mobile application testing experience
