As a Quality Engineer – Electronics & Testing Laboratory, you will be part of our growing team at Preh Portugal (Trofa), contributing to the development and maintenance of innovative automotive technologies.
You'll work in a dynamic, international environment, using the latest tools and platforms to tackle
- world challenges.
The Challenges in Front of You
- Diagnose and resolve quality issues affecting products and processes. Investigate internal and customer defects, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Validate product changes, ensuring compliance with technical requirements and maintaining quality during production.
- Calibrate and maintain measuring and monitoring equipment in accordance with internal standards and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with quality regulations, ESD procedures, and industry standards. Prepare and maintain internal measurement and quality reports.
- Support firmware flashing and programming operations for electronic boards.
- Maintain strong collaboration with other laboratories within the Preh Group.
You're more than your resume — you're passionate for excellence, proactive, and
- minded. To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- A degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Electromechanics, or a related technical discipline.
- 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in electronics, quality engineering, or product development.
- A knack for software programming and automation (a strong plus).
- Working knowledge of CAN/LIN communication protocols.
- A solid grasp of quality standards, methodologies, and root‑cause problem‑solving techniques.
- Confidence working with Microsoft Office tools; SAP know‑how is a welcome advantage.
- Strong communication skills in English; German language skills are a plus.
