Quality Inspector – Utility Scale Solar Project – Long Contract - Portugal

Earthstream Global are currently looking for an experienced Quality Inspector with the ability to cover civil, electrical, and mechanical scopes of utility scale solar projects, for a large
- MW project in Portugal.

The successful candidate will play a key role in site monitoring and quality assurance, ensuring that all works are carried out in full compliance with the approved design, technical specifications, regulatory standards, and recognised industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and inspect
  - site construction activities across civil, electrical, and mechanical works from beginning to end of project.
• Verify compliance with project design, specifications, codes, and regulations.
• Identify, document, and report
  - conformities with proposed corrective actions.
• Support the Owner’s team in overseeing connection works between the PV plant and grid.
• Provide clear and timely reporting on progress, quality concerns, and site observations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree/Diploma in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification).
• Proven experience in quality inspection within the utility scale Solar/PV space.
• Strong understanding of quality control standards, construction codes, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on a
  - paced project site.
• Strong communication in English, with a good level in Portuguese being desirable.
• Familiarity with connection works to
  - voltage overhead lines is highly desirable.
