Job Description

The Quote Manager (M/F/D) role at Borg
Warner is responsible for owning the plant quote process, including changes on existing products and capacity increases on existing lines.

Responsibilities

• Define quote scope with relevant stakeholders
• Lead quote
  - off and presentation to functional owners
• Follow-up on functional departments to obtain data, right quality, and right time
• Ensure quote plausible and competitive pricing, while guaranteeing financial metrics
• Lead quote presentation together with sales through various levels of approval
• Follow-up and track commercial closure and compliance, including claims
• Act as plant representative in front of customers, including technical presentations when needed
• Lead weekly quote review meetings
• Ensure GQS is
  -
  - date with sales
• Coordinate plant quote activities on new pursuits led by the pursuit team

Qualifications

• University degree in Management or Engineering, or similar
• Manufacturing industrial background
• Both technical and business mindset
• Financial experience
• Business experience within the Auto Industry is preferred
• Cost modeling and cost estimator skills are a plus
