Your new Role:

As an R2R Oversight Accountant, you will provide effective and efficient accounting services to segments ensuring they are supported, submitting returns and complying with management accounting procedures. The role will involve engaging with other functions of the SSC as well as the supported segments ensuring that
- determined process around management accounting activities are followed.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensure that all R2R processes at the regional level are in adherence to accounting standards (GAAP/IAS) to achieve reliability and integrity of financial data.
• Ensure that the R2R internal controls/SOX requirements are performed on time.
• Preparation, review, and
  - off of balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Develop, track, and maintain master data KPIs, including data accuracy, completeness, and turnaround time, to support performance monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Oversee that all R2R (Record to Report) processes at the regional level adhere to established accounting standards, ensuring the reliability and integrity of financial data.
• Support the preparation and review of period close entries, and general ledger accounts reconciliation and analysis.
• Coordinate
  - end and
  - end reporting schedules.
• Ensure that all R2R internal controls and SOX requirements are executed on time.
• Track and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to support performance monitoring and continuous improvement efforts.
• Provide input and collaboration with
  - functional teams on the design and optimization of new R2R processes, contributing to the enhancement of efficiency and productivity within the department.
• Provide input on the design of new processes that will enhance the efficiency and productivity of the R2R process.

What you will need to be successful:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or any related field.
• 2-5 years’ of R2R experience.
• Experience of working in a finance environment;
  
  numerate with the ability to understand, interpret and communicate complex accounts and financial reports.
• Strong command of verbal and written English and Spanish.
• Excellent IT skills, including Excel.
• Good systems knowledge, preferably experience working with SAP.
• Proven track record of achieving KPI’s.
• Ability to deliver to strict guidelines and to tight deadlines.
• Must be able to demonstrate a high standard of communications skills, with the ability to identify the optimum communication channel as well as excellent customer service skills.
• Pro-active, responsive and action oriented.
