What will be your mission?
As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for attending to guests' needs upon arrival and departure, providing an overall exceptional experience during their stay in line with the hotel's vision and values on customer satisfaction.
What will you do?
- Welcome guests and complete the
- in process for all arrivals, ensuring a timely and professional service, and manage the
- out process for departing guests and groups. - Manage room allocation based on guest characteristics (VIPs, regular guests, new customers, etc. ) in coordination with the relevant department.
- Handle guest requests, inquiries, complaints, and suggestions, keeping the front office and management team fully informed.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel products, services, rates, promotions, and special events.
- Communicate hotel services available (dry cleaning, restaurant reservations) and safety information.
- Maximize room occupancy at optimal rates, including closing sales and extranets if necessary.
- Use
- selling techniques to promote the DISCOVERY loyalty program, rewards, and other hotel amenities. - Handle incoming reservations and provide guests with information about the property and local area attractions.
- Arrange for special services or requests such as transportation, reservations, or dry cleaning.
- Follow company brand standards and assist other departments when needed.
- Provide night services, including
- up calls. - Manage invoicing, payments, and cash operations during night shifts.
- Conduct rounds, check for irregularities, and secure the premises.
- Prepare and manage night audit reports.
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in Front Office, preferably in a hotel of similar size and complexity.
- Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent.
- Fluency in the local language and high proficiency in English.
- Knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Office, TMS, and Front Office systems.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Flexibility to adapt to various work situations.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Sales-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
