We are looking for a Regional Director of Finance to be based in the Algarve. This is a fantastic opportunity to oversee financial planning, control, and performance monitoring across multiple business units within the region. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, alignment with budget targets, and provides strategic financial insights to support operational
- making. A key focus will be on fostering a
- driven performance culture and driving profitability improvement initiatives. 
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting processes for the assigned region, in coordination with the corporate finance team.
 - Analyze budget variances and financial performance, identifying corrective actions and supporting operational teams in their implementation.
 - Partner with regional operations and property leadership to provide financial insights, KPIs, and performance dashboards to guide business decisions.
 - Ensure consistency and standardization of management control processes across units, promoting best practices and
- property alignment. - Monitor and report key financial and operational performance indicators (KPIs) with a focus on revenue, operational costs, gross margin, and EBITDA.
 - Support cost optimization, restructuring, expansion, and investment projects through business case development and financial modeling.
 - Ensure compliance with internal financial control policies and alignment with corporate financial standards.
 - Coordinate training and development of
- property finance teams to strengthen analytical capabilities and business acumen. 
What you need to shine in this role:
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or similar (MBA or
- graduate qualifications preferred). - Minimum 8 years’ experience in finance leadership, FP&A, or business controlling, ideally in a
- unit environment (e. g. , hospitality, retail, FMCG). - Strong analytical mindset with strategic thinking and results orientation.
 - Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial reporting tools, and ERP systems (e. g. , SAP, Oracle, Navision).
 - Experience with Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools is a strong plus.
 - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence
- functional teams and work in a matrix organization. - Willingness to travel regularly across assigned units (national and potentially international).
