Regional SecOps Engineer Matosinhos

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Sec
Ops Engineer to secure the Regional IT environment, support incident remediation, and ensure implementation of IT security controls. The role will support vulnerability management, risk assessment, and contribute to resilient infrastructures across geographies.

Responsibilities

• Support cybersecurity incident response and
  - incident reviews.
• Assist local IT teams in implementing security tools and controls.
• Support risk assessments for business projects and IT requests.
• Contribute to vulnerability and patch management processes.
• Relay security communications and track actions.
• Support KPIs, dashboards, and remediation plans from internal and external audits.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements:

• Education: Degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Experience: 3+ years in IT Security, 1. 5+ years in a similar role.
• Certifications: Ideally CISSP.
• Experience in IT administration roles.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001/27002/27005, NIST CSF, Data Privacy/GDPR.
• Proficiency with security technologies (Firewall, WAF, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, EDR, PKI).
• Languages: English required, French is a plus.

Complementary Requirements:

• Knowledge of cloud infrastructures (Iaa
  S, Paa
  S, Saa
  S, Azure).
• Familiarity with COBIT, CMMI, ITIL.
• Strong analytical, rigorous, and structured
  - solving skills.
• Strong communication to support and influence stakeholders.

Work Regime and Location

• Hybrid regime (2 days in the office and 3 days at home).
• Flexible hours (8h/day, start between 7:00-10:00 am and end between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm).

Location: Matosinhos, Porto, Portugal
