Regulatory Affairs Analyst
The Analyst in Regulatory Affairs will support the monitoring, analysis, interpretation, and implementation of policy and regulatory developments affecting the energy sector. This position involves preparing analytical materials and presentations, providing regulatory insights to guide strategic decisions, and ensuring alignment with evolving EU and national regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret
- related legislation, including EU and national regulatory developments in electricity, renewables,
- mobility, markets, networks and energy transition. - Prepare analytical reports, regulatory briefings, and policy summaries for internal use and for senior management.
- Support the drafting of company positions and responses to regulatory consultations.
- Assess regulatory impacts on services, operations, and business models.
- Develop Power
Point presentations to communicate regulatory findings and policy implications. - Use Excel to perform data analysis, model regulatory or market impacts, and track key indicators.
- Engage with regulatory authorities, industry bodies, and relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute to internal projects that require
- functional regulatory input.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Management or related discipline.
- Minimum of 2/3 years of professional experience in regulatory affairs, policy analysis, consulting, or the energy sector.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power
Point. - Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Portuguese and English.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to synthesize complex information clearly.
- Team-oriented, collaborative, and adaptable working style.
- Understanding of the EU energy market and policy framework is an advantage.
