What is this role?

You’ll sit at the intersection of clients and product , ensuring that what we build truly solves client problems. You’ll help senior stakeholders implement Zango, feed their insights back into our product and engineering, and directly influence how our technology evolves. As Zango’s Country Manager in Portugal, you’ll not only lead our local presence but also play a pivotal role in driving our launch across other EU countries.

Think of this as part advisor, part product shaper, part AI-trainer.

What will you do?

Work with clients to deliver impact

• Guide clients through onboarding, ensuring their regulatory requirements are properly mapped.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to understand pain points and design solutions that drive efficiency.
• Help clients implement AI into their workflows with confidence and clarity.
• Act as a trusted advisor and change agent.

Shape AI with client insight

• Feed client feedback directly into our AI and product development cycles.
• Spot opportunities for new features and solutions that reflect emerging regulatory needs.
• Influence how our AI interprets, reasons, and adapts to nuanced regulation.

Make AI smarter about regulation

• Break down complex regulations into structured obligations.
• Work with engineers to embed jurisdictional nuances into AI models.
• Help train the AI through structured inputs and feedback loops, directly shaping how it learns.

Who are you?

• 6-10 years’ experience in financial services compliance, Reg
  Tech, or regulatory advisory (in-house or consulting).
• Comfortable in
  - facing roles, including with senior stakeholders
• Subject Matter Expert in Portuguese regulations and EU regulations for financial services
• Tech-savvy and excited to collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data scientists (no coding required).
• Motivated by the chance to shape the future of AI-powered compliance.
