Regulatory Project Manager for Credit Risk Reporting
Overview
The Project Manager will join the Standards and Controls (S&C) - Standards Implementation Office (SIO) team in Lisbon, within the Prudential & Regulatory Project Implementation (PRPI) team responsible for implementing prudential projects within Finance & Strategy, in close collaboration with the RISK teams.
This position will allow you to become a central player within Finance & Strategy and provide opportunities to interact across many functions within the Group, including daily collaboration with numerous stakeholders and interaction with the Central team in Paris to build extensive knowledge of critical projects. The role will evolve with regulatory changes and recommendations issued by the Bank's regulatory bodies and auditors.
Your Main Activities Are
- Manage the COREP / Pillar 3 reporting projects and help implement regulatory changes following the publication of Implementing Technical Standards (ITS) and Environmental Social Governance (ESG) reporting requirements covering the Group scope.
- Coordinate regulatory projects, organizing the project, taking minutes, preparing support material, and participating in Steering Committees, with action plans and roadmaps set up.
- Propose appropriate solutions within the project framework and work on the operational insertion of these solutions in collaboration with the Group's RISK, Finance, IT, and COO teams and operating entities.
- Work closely with various work streams and clearly communicate expected developments and their operational insertion in updated processes.
- Prepare, organize and coordinate workshops and steering committees for projects within the related scope.
Profile and Skills to Success
- At least 3 years of professional experience in regulatory topics, accounting or reporting matters, ideally with project management exposure.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Power
Point). - Experience piloting operational production, strong computer skills and control of production operations.
- Fluent English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to collaborate and work in a team.
- Ability to synthesize and simplify complex information.
- Analytical thinking, proactivity.
About the Team
The Standards & Controls Department monitors evolution in accounting, performance management, prudential and reporting standards to ensure regulatory oversight. It is divided into four branches, including the Standards Implementation Office (SIO) with four teams: Accounting Standards Project Implementation (ASPI); Prudential & Regulatory Project Implementation (PRPI); Liquidity & Resolution Project Implementation (LRPI); and Controls & Data Remediation Project Implementation (CCRR).
