Relationship Officer for Payment Service Provider

Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with Payment Service Providers (PSPs) for
- resident accounts across EMEA. - Onboard PSPs across EMEA, taking responsibility for KYC, compliance, account opening, underlying contractual agreement and credit risk process where applicable.
- Manage client and internal stakeholders, including head office and local legal, compliance operational teams and credit teams where applicable.
- Support Relationship Managers covering the global relationship in strategic dialogue with PSPs, especially for Cash Management and related services.
- Participate in screening and prioritization of PSP targets & opportunities.
- Maintain knowledge of regulatory framework governing PSPs and internal control framework at BNP Paribas.
- Contribute to and join client pitches and discussions.
- Define CIB strategy for PSPs in EMEA with Growth Capital & Solutions Team.
- Propose process and set‑up improvements, contributing to best practices in line with BNP Paribas standards.
- Ensure coordination with Cash Management stakeholders dedicated to PSP business development.
- Coordinate with local Coverage and support function teams to manage smooth migration of
- resident accounts from local to the hub. - Provide visibility on revenue generation of
- resident accounts activity.
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (oral and written).
- At least 5 years of experience within a bank, financial institution or a PSP in relationship management, coverage, cash management of payment companies or NBFIs.
- Knowledge of payment industry dynamics.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with results‑driven approach.
- Ability to manage a project with a solution‑oriented approach.
- Experience working across multiple countries and cultures.
