Release & Deployment Lead

We are looking for a Release & Deployment Lead to join the Leasing & Factoring Business Unit, working alongside over 90 professionals in finance, data, and digital transformation. This position plays a critical role in coordinating and managing software releases and deployments across multiple systems, ensuring smooth delivery, stability, and alignment with business goals. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to enhance tools that support strategic decision‑making across Europe.

Main Tasks

Release Management

• Define and enforce versioning standards and naming conventions for application components.
• Ensure modularity and independence of deployable artifacts.
• Build and maintain release calendars aligned with functional and technical specifications.
• Plan and execute deployments in collaboration with infrastructure stakeholders.
• Monitor infrastructure component lifecycle and obsolescence.
• Maintain a consistent and predictable release cadence.

Quality & Testing

• Integrate automated end‑to‑end testing frameworks into the release pipeline.
• Optimize test coverage and efficiency across environments.
• Lead release validation committees with PMs, QA leads, Product Owners, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee parallel run configurations and ensure alignment with testing cycles.
• Ensure operational readiness of DEV, REC, and PREPROD environments.
• Manage data refresh cycles for realistic testing conditions.
• Define deployment configuration strategies based on environment, version, and test scope.

Deployment & Rollback

• Supervise deployment execution and parallel run setups.
• Anticipate and coordinate rollback procedures with infrastructure teams.
• Monitor post‑release incidents, lead prioritization, and plan corrective releases.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain detailed release documentation and version control records.
• Produce and present release reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with corporate standards and repository requirements.

Technical Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in release management or large‑scale IT project coordination.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and Dev
  Ops practices.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git
  Lab CI/CD, Sonar
  Qube).
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Previous work in Agile, Scrum, or ITIL environments.
• Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills.
