Job Description

As a Release Management Lead, you will define and evolve the
- wide release management framework, ensuring the consistent application of governance, standards, and tooling across all delivery streams. You will play a pivotal role in enabling secure, stable, and efficient go‑lives by driving the adoption of best practices and collaborating with stakeholders to align release strategies with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Design, evolve, and maintain the release management framework, standards, and best practices across the organization
• Develop and implement enterprise‑level release governance models, approval workflows, and compliance criteria
• Lead the selection, implementation, and continuous improvement of release orchestration and deployment automation tools
• Oversee the integration of release planning with enterprise calendars, business readiness timelines, and environment strategies
• Align release processes with security, audit, and risk management frameworks, and establish enterprise‑wide release controls
• Mentor and support Release Managers, foster a community of practice, and ensure cross‑stream consistency
• Collaborate with architecture, QA, Application Management, and product leadership to embed release‑readiness criteria into delivery milestones
• Analyze post‑release insights to identify systemic issues, drive organizational learning, and enhance practices
• Lead and shape release practices across multiple product delivery teams
• Act as the central point of contact for cross‑functional release coordination across Product, IT, QA, business, and operations teams
• Provide clear, tailored communication on release activities to all stakeholder groups

Your Profile

• Proven experience as a Release Manager in digital programs, with 3+ years of managing complex releases and ensuring smooth delivery
• Strong proficiency in release planning and change management, with the ability to adapt to evolving project needs
• Hands‑on experience with Azure Dev
  Ops and Azure Portal, as well as AWS, to streamline and automate release processes
• Deep understanding of both Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies, enabling effective collaboration across diverse teams
• Exceptional planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
• Outstanding communication and leadership abilities, with a focus on fostering collaboration and alignment across teams
• Strong influencing skills, with the ability to engage and guide technical teams while building trust with stakeholders at all levels
