Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

Join our dynamic R&D team and drive innovation in
-
- water heat pump systems — essential technologies for sustainable heating in modern buildings.

• Define and derive reliability requirements from
  - life load profiles to ensure
  - term product performance.
• Lead and moderate product quality sessions, such as FMEAs, focus matrix discussions, DRBFMs, and risk assessments in line with Bosch’s Engineering System.
• Plan, set up, and carry out reliability and validation tests.
• Conduct technical and safety reviews throughout the product development cycle.
• Collaborate on the development and refinement of reliability methods.
• Support field monitoring and lead
  - solving efforts using structured tools like 8D reports.
• Communicate test results clearly to
  - functional development teams, supporting
  - driven decisions.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

Education:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of
  - on experience in product development, quality function, validation or similar. Experience within Bosch Home Comfort or familiarity with Bosch development processes is a strong advantage.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Power
  Point).
• Familiarity with lab tools like Matlab or Lab
  View is an advantage.

Know-how

• Knowledge of statistical methods, reliability testing, and material science.
• Understanding of mechanical construction, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and refrigeration systems.

Languages

• Fluent in English (written and spoken). Additional language skills are a plus.
