What you will do
- Real-time monitoring and control operations (24x7) and
- time analysis and performance of renewable power plants. - On stoppages perform troubleshooting and accordingly execute remote resets or notify O&M for local intervention and out of normal working hours and holidays/weekends decide if it is profitable for EDPR to activate
- call services while controlling operational costs. - Coordination of electrical works and outages with the correspondent stakeholders according to each country grid code, definition and validation of electrical maneuvers' lists and execution of
- time maneuvers. - Reception and application of TSO/DSOs active and reactive regulation orders.
- Issue work orders, guaranteeing optimum security conditions, with the collaboration of O&M management and/or the power plant
- site personnel. - Grant
- time interlocution with system operators and maintain a permanent link with other dispatch centers, distributors and transmissions system operators, in order to coordinate and/or guide the operations, procedures and dispatch processes in the grid and renewable power plants. - Ensure safe assets operation according to standard operating procedures and external regulations of each country.
- Coordinate with the Asset Operations teams (EDPR, subcontractors and clients) in the identification and communication of incidents and faults in the substations and renewable generators, as well as electrical restrictions imposed by the transmission and distribution system operators.
- Coordinate with the Construction teams (EDPR and subcontractors) the energization of substations. Assure proper monitoring and operation of the assets, always in alignment with internal and external teams, during commissioning and
- operations phases, guaranteeing grid code compliance along the different countries as well as market orders fulfillment. - Guarantee the continuous exchange of information with system operators (transmission and distribution), OEM remote control centers, production forecast centers, market operators (trading and electricity markets),
- takers and clients (Asset Management and O&M). - Verify production forecasts and incidents in
- time, execution and supervision in
- time of power regulations and market orders to adapt market programs and minimize deviations and imbalances and maximize incomes. - Behind operational issues, have the autonomy to, after gathering relevant information, identify possible resolution alternatives, weigh the solutions, identify the best option and put it into action.
- Perform SCADA system connection/control tests in the renewable power plants and substation automated systems.
- Identify, troubleshoot, report and
- up all the incidents and downtimes of communication channels, first level SCADAs (Generation and Substation), second level SCADA and other operational tools used to deliver the service, according to the procedures established and in order to guarantee the 24x7 conditions to supervise and remote operate the assets.

What are we looking for
- Degree in Engineering, preferably in Control, Electrical or Electrotechnical.
- Up to 5 years of working experience in electrical or/and control systems.
- Familiarity with MS Office and SCADA systems.
- Knowledge of standards related to regulatory (particularly in the markets where EDPR operates), health, prevention of risks, environment, and quality.
- Electrical Distribution and Transportation Systems (particularly in the markets where EDPR operates).
- Operation of control systems and HV equipment in renewable power plant substations.
- Availability to work in Shifts.
- Languages: English, including technical concepts applicable to the electrical sector.
