About Siemens Foundational Technologies Department Siemens Foundational Technologies is the central
- house research unit at Siemens and as such occupies an outstanding position within Siemens' R&D facilities. It acts as a strategic partner to support Siemens’ business units with R&D services, protects the company’s intellectual property, coordinates the collaboration with top universities worldwide, and supports standardization activities in all business units and regions. Through its R&D activities in Germany, USA, Portugal, China, India, Japan, and Eastern Europe, Siemens Technology helps to secure the company’s technological future and strengthen its ambition.

Your mission will be…

1. Work closely with the project manager, developers, testers, and UI/UX designers to translate
   - level requests into detailed features and user stories.
2. Collaborate with key stakeholders on requirements gathering, technical solution design, configuration, testing, user acceptance, implementation, and documentation.
3. Participate in the development of technical concepts for software solutions.
4. Develop integrations between different system components.
5. Prepare architecture descriptions and specifications.
6. Optimize the analytics process.

We are looking for someone with…

1. Minimum 3 years of commercial experience in a similar role.
2. Proficiency in explaining the functionality of developed software products.
3. Expertise in methodologies for requirements gathering and process description.
4. Strong negotiation skills to align requirements with stakeholders.
5. Ability to describe business processes, user behavior, and system functions.
6. Solid understanding of Agile methodology and development processes.
7. Knowledge of SQL and data model theory.
8. Understanding of systems integration principles (API, REST, g
   RPC, message brokers) and experience in specification preparation.
9. Proficiency in Flowchart, BPMN, and UML diagrams and notations.
10. Knowledge of microservice architecture principles and web applications.
11. Ability to comprehend complex systems and read source code.
12. Experience with Confluence, Jira, or similar tools.
13. Strong oral and written communication skills.
14. Proficiency in spoken English.

Would be beneficial to have experience with:

1. Python and No
   SQL databases.
2. Domain driven design.
3. Unix systems.
4. Analyzing large datasets, including the use of machine learning methods.
5. BI analytics systems such as Tableau, Power
   BI, or similar.
6. Projects focused on the analysis and visualization of industrial data.
7. Drawing software like Draw. io or similar tools.
8. Interface prototyping, preferably using Figma.
