Overview
The Muñoz Research Group conducts fundamental and
- oriented research on materials and devices for energy storage and conversion. We are seeking a Research Assistant to join our team and work under the PRR framework, in the NGS Agenda.
Job Duties
- Synthesis of battery materials
- Structural characterization of battery materials
- Result reporting
- Assist supervisor in developing laboratory protocols for enhanced quality, efficiency, and safety
Mandatory Qualifications
Education
- MSc in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or related fields
Experience and Technical Skills
- Experience with materials characterization, structural techniques such as diffraction, electron microscopy, and X-ray absorption
- Knowledge of synthesis methods
- Experience handling materials and preparing them for characterization
- Bibliographic research and reporting experimental work
Other Valued Skills
- Previous experience with materials for energy
- Familiarity with electrochemical characterization
