Overview

The Salomé Research Group (Nanofabrication, Optoelectronics, and Energy Applications) is dedicated to developing nanofabrication and applications for optoelectronics and energy. Focused on developing nanofabrication solutions for a diverse set of applications via competitive funding projects and industrial services. The group aims to keep advancing the state‑of‑the‑art in several areas.

We’re looking for a Research Assistant to join our team under the project MI3S – Sensorized and Sustainable Solar Waterproof Membrane.

Job Duties

• CIGS Solar cell fabrication
• Development of metallization with screen printing, evaporation, and inkjet printing
• Solar cell characterization using J‑V and EQE

Mandatory Qualifications

Education

• MSc in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Nanotechnology, Microfabrication, or related areas including Engineering

Experience and Technical Skills

• Characterization and/or deposition of thin films
• Solar cells/photovoltaics

Other Valued Skills

• Experience with sputtering
• Experience with inkjet

Personal Skills

• Strong motivation to work both independently and as part of a team in an interdisciplinary environment, with the ability to pay close attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• “Hands‑on” approach together with a high commitment to respecting working deadlines

How the Selection Process Works
