Tasks

Fairjourney Biologics is at the forefront of antibody discovery, where downstream processing plays a crucial role in isolating, purifying, and delivering products of the highest quality. This vital phase of the bioprocess ensures that the product generated during upstream processing meets rigorous standards of purity and concentration through advanced methodologies such as chromatography and filtration.

As a Research Associate in the Protein Production Division (PPD) at Fair
Journey Biologics, you will play a key role in advancing our antibody discovery and development programs. Your main responsibilities will include antibody purification using a range of chromatographic techniques and optimizing purification strategies to ensure
- quality results. You will also be encouraged to propose innovative solutions and adapt workflows whenever deviations from initial plans arise, contributing directly to the continuous improvement of our processes and scientific excellence.

Requirements

To expand its Protein Production Division, Fair
Journey Biologics is seeking a Research Associate with the following characteristics:

• MSc or Ph
  D in a relevant scientific field (e. g. , Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related discipline).
• Solid understanding of chromatography techniques, with the ability to evaluate and propose improvements to purification methods and workflows.
• Practical experience with affinity, size exclusion, desalting, and/or ion exchange chromatography.
• Experience with tangential flow filtration (TFF), particularly ultrafiltration membranes, is preferred.
• Proven hands‑on experience in protein purification using ÄKTA systems or equivalent platforms.
• Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills, with attention to detail.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
