Offer Description
A call is open for the award of 1 (one) research fellowship (BI), hereinafter abbreviated as BI or Research Grant, under the Research Grant Holder Statute, under the following conditions:
1. FUNDING: The research grant will be funded by the budget of Maiêutica – Cooperativa de Ensino Superior, C. R. L. , the founding entity of the University of Maia (UMAIA) and integrated into the Maia Campus of the University of Porto's Psychology Center. (CPUP).
2. SCIENTIFIC AREA: Psychology

The activities to be carried out by the scholarship holder include:
a. Systematic review of the literature on
- emotional learning and teaching practices focused on promoting

b. Development of psychopedagogical resources to foster

d. Collection and analysis of data within the scope of usability studies and effectiveness of digital tools for teacher training in the domain of

e. Participation in team meetings and in the writing of reports. Participation in team meetings and report writing.

5. DURATION OF THE SCHOLARSHIP
The scholarship will be awarded on an exclusive basis and will have a duration of 12 months, with a start date expected in February 2025.

2. Are eligible for this call the candidates who meet the requirements of the previous number and who, cumulatively, satisfy the following requirement:
a. hold a Master's degree in School Psychology and Education, or related fields (if the qualification was awarded by a foreign higher education institution, it must comply with the provisions of Decree-Law No. 66/2018, of August 16, and any formalities established therein must be fulfilled by the time of hiring);
b. be a student enrolled in a
- degree course integrated into the educational project of a higher education institution, developed in association or cooperation with one or more R&D units (requirement to be duly proven at the time of hiring); or be a student developing the work plan within the scope of the Doctorate in Psychology at the University of Maia (requirement to be duly proven through proof of enrollment/attendance).
Specific Requirements
The research grant will be preferentially awarded to those who demonstrate:
a. Proficiency in the English language (requirement to be duly proven through certificates/diplomas or written works/articles in English or the ability to maintain a conversation in English). b. Previous experience in participating in research activities in areas relevant to the work program (e. g. , systematic literature review; quantitative and/or qualitative research methods; use of technologies in teacher training;

2. The payment frequency of the scholarship is monthly and through Bank Transfer.
3. All scholarship holders benefit from personal accident insurance related to research activities, covered by Maiêutica.
4. All scholarship holders who are not covered by any social protection scheme can ensure the exercise of the right to social security by joining the voluntary social insurance scheme, under the terms of the Code of Contributory Regimes of the Social Security Welfare System, with Maiêutica – Cooperativa de Ensino Superior, CRL, the founding entity of the University of Maia, covering the costs resulting from the contributions under the terms and limits provided in Article 10 of the EBI.

Selection process
1. The evaluation of the applications will be carried out through a Curriculum Evaluation (70%) and an Interview (30%). The candidates will be ranked based on the following criteria.
2. The Curriculum Evaluation (70%), based on the documents submitted in the Application, takes into account:
a. e. The motivation letter must describe the candidate's professional and/or academic background (5%), the reasons for the application (5%), and explain how they fit into the work program described in point 4 of this Notice (5%).
3. The classification obtained in the parameters of the Curricular Evaluation is expressed on a numerical scale from 0 to 20, up to two decimal places. The classification of each candidate is obtained by averaging the ratings of each jury member. In case of a tie, the President decides the tiebreaker.
4. The Interview (30%) evaluates the following parameters:
a. The motivation of the candidate (15%);The motivation of the candidate (15%);

5. The score obtained in the Interview is expressed on a numerical scale from 0 to 20, up to two decimal places. The classification of each candidate is obtained by averaging the scores given by each jury member. In case of a tie, the President has the casting vote.
6. According to the evaluation carried out, the jury prepares an ordered list of candidates with their respective final classification, expressed on a scale of 0 to 20 points, up to two decimal places.
7. The jury reserves the right not to select any candidate if they agree that none of the candidates meet the required profile. The jury reserves the right not to select any candidate if it agrees that none of the candidates possess the required profile.

SCHOLARSHIP GRANTING REQUIREMENTS
1. Research grant contracts are managed in accordance with the regulations of the Research Fellow Statute and the Regulation approved by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), so the following documents must necessarily be submitted upon the granting of the scholarship for the purpose of its contractualization:
a. Copy of the document(s) proving the civil, tax, and, when applicable, social security identification numbers;Copy of the document(s) proving the civil, tax, and, when applicable, social security identification numbers;
b. Copy of the certificates of the academic degrees held;Copy of the certificates of qualifications for the academic degrees held;
c. Copy of the certificate of enrollment/attendance in a
- degree course integrated into the educational project of a higher education institution, developed in association or cooperation with one or several R&D units; or proof of enrollment/registration in the Doctorate in Psychology at the University of Maia;
d. e. Work plan to be carried out.
2. The granting of the scholarship is still pending:
a. of the full compliance with the requirements set forth in this Notice;
b. of the result of the evaluation of the application as provided for in this Notice;
c. of the absence of unjustified
- compliance with the duties of the scholarship holder under a previous scholarship contract funded, directly or indirectly, by the FCT.
3. The failure to submit any of the documents necessary to complete the scholarship contract process, within the deadline indicated in the communication of the conditional scholarship grant decision, implies the expiration of the said grant and the closure of the process.
FORM OF PUBLICATION/NOTIFICATION OF RESULTS
1. The evaluation results will be published through a list ordered by the final grade obtained, posted on the website of the University of Maia – UMAIA (www.umaia. pt ), within a maximum period of 10 business days after the final submission date of the application, and the candidates will be notified of the proposed decision via email, for the purpose of a prior hearing of interested parties, having a period of 10 business days to, if they wish, express their opinion, becoming definitive in the absence of opinions.
2. If there are pronunciations, the final decision is notified within 10 business days.
3. From the final decision, candidates may file a complaint within 15 business days, or appeal to the highest executive body of the funding entity within 30 business days after the notification of the final decision, in accordance with Article 12 of the Research Grant Regulations of the Foundation for Science and Technology.
