Summary

The notice is intended to fill one post of a contract (Reference ISQ_CTI_15), under the Investimento RE-C05-i02 – Missão Interface N. º03/C05-i02/2022 Contrato de Financiamento de Beneficiário Final Financiamento Base – Centro de Tecnologia e Inovação, for applied scientific research and innovation activities in computer science and engineering or related engineering areas. The work plan focuses on development of innovation projects related to Edge computing and cloud computing processes and technologies. Activities include the development of R&D projects, provision of services, and technology and knowledge transfer actions.

Admission Requirements

National, foreign and stateless candidates may apply if they hold a Master’s degree in computer science and engineering or related engineering areas, and have a scientific and professional curriculum vitae showing an appropriate profile. If the Master’s degree is from a foreign higher education institution, it must comply with the relevant registration or recognition formalities, fulfilled by the date of hiring.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to applicants with knowledge and experience in:

• AR/VR applications and integration with other developments created by our team
• Digital monitoring of infrastructure(s) via object recognition
• Create and customize textures, UI/UX specifications, layouts, and mobile interfaces
• 3D modelling (Blender or Maya or CAD software)
• Git
  Hub, Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience in collaborative projects with Industry, Research and Development and knowledge transfer

Workplace

The work will be developed at Instituto de Soldadura e Qualidade (ISQ), Avenida Professor Dr. Cavaco Silva, 33 Taguspark, 2740-120 Porto Salvo. Workplace: Oeiras, Lisbon.

Compensation

The employee will be entitled to an employment contract with a fixed annual salary which could reach level 32 of the Single Remuneration Table, in accordance with the CV and experience presented and proven. Payment will be made by bank transfer.

Selection Method

Curricular evaluation considering:

• Relevance of the academic curriculum (40%)
• Relevant previous experience in work foreseen in the work plan (40%)
• Other relevant merits (20%)

If the jury deems it necessary, the three
- ranked candidates may be called for an interview. If the interview occurs, the scoring will be 90% for curriculum evaluation and 10% for the interview.

The results will be published in an alphabetically ordered list posted in a visible and public place of ISQ, and candidates will be notified via email.
