What will you have to do?
- Ensure maximum possible occupancy and average room rate is achieved at all times
- Ensure the efficient day to day running of the Department
- Apply set selling strategy across all reservations systems ensuring maximum use of availability controls and room type availability
- Proactive manage availability, recommending necessary strategy changes
- Keep up to date with global and local events impacting your city and hotel
- Develop the Reservations team to maximise revenue on every call
- Check Reservations and ensure all bookings have been entered in accordance with set strategy
- Manage any overbooking on a certain room type
What are we looking for?
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel
- High level of Portuguese and English
- Knowledge of PMS Opera Cloud would be a plus
- Leadership, personnel management, and
- making skills
