Principal Accountabilities
We are looking for an individual who can:
Manage the allocation of
- facing staff to client projects, business development opportunities and internal initiatives; drawing on robust negotiation skills to resolve conflicts and escalate issues when necessary.
Develop strong relationships across the wider resource management community; sharing resources across practices where appropriate to optimize overall productivity and realization while supporting their individual development objectives.
Engage with our local and global senior leadership team to understand, plan for and meet the resourcing demands of the pipeline, ensuring that profitability is kept at the forefront of resourcing decisions. Influence resource selection and strategic solutions to achieve utilization and effective skills/grade mix on projects.
Develop a deep understanding of the development goals of the delivery team through strong relationships. Leverage that knowledge to make effective resource management decisions.
Monitor and communicate current and
- term delivery capacity.
Maintain resource management data integrity in the systems that support resource and project management decisions.
Flag resourcing capability gaps as an input to hiring and provide guidance into Learning & Development.
Demonstrate strong commercial awareness by monitoring and driving compliance to our financial management system, identifying and proposing solutions to resolve
- term patterns related to forecast and actual utilization, and investigating discrepancies between data to provide insights.
Support HR with the biannual Performance Management process.
On-board all new joiners to introduce Resource Management processes and understand their skills and experience.
Escalate conflicts and unresolvable issues appropriately to the leadership team for support.
Education, Skills, Experience & Specialized Knowledge
Bachelor's degree, ideally in Life Sciences.
At least 2 years’ experience in a role related to clinical trials.
Previous staffing/resource management roles, ideally in a professional services environment, but not mandatory.
Strong written and spoken English skills (mandatory, as you'll be working in a global team).
Proven
- solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to build strong business relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
A
- starting mindset with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
Ability to assimilate multiple sources of information for effective
- making.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
