The Role
We’re looking for a Manager who can lead with care, structure, and purpose. This person will be at the heart of our daily operations, supporting the team, refining workflows, elevating service standards, and helping us build a sustainable and joyful workplace. This is a

Your Mission

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Culture
- Create a respectful,

Guest Experience & Floor Management
- Oversee the entire guest journey:
greeting, seating,
- taking, delivery, payment, and farewell - Act as a visible leader during service - scanning the floor, anticipating guest needs, and coaching in
- time - Ensure floor team roles are
- distributed and executed efficiently - Handle customer feedback and complaints with empathy and a
- driven mindset
Team Coordination & Training
- Recruit, onboard, and support new team members
- Organize and lead team briefings, training sessions, and 1:
1s - Maintain a visible, approachable presence and help each staff member understand their role clearly
- Design and maintain SOPs and checklists to support team structure and clarity
Operations & Administration
- Ensure alignment between bar, kitchen, and floor operations
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and legal compliance
- Oversee supplier relationships and coordinate order placements (bar, kitchen, pastry, coffee)
- Monitor and manage inventory, waste, and restocking systems
- Oversee POS accuracy, cash closing, and shift reporting
Business & Performance
- Monitor revenue, labor costs, inventory metrics, and profitability
- Propose and implement improvements to boost guest retention and team productivity
- Collaborate closely with the owner/founder on growth strategy and priorities
- Prepare and review performance reports:
sales, reviews, team dynamics, etc.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves:
- Proven experience in hospitality team leadership (floor manager, assistant manager, or similar)
- Excellent emotional intelligence and conflict resolution skills
- Strong floor presence and service coordination ability
- Comfortable with admin tasks, planning, and supplier interaction
- Fluent in English and conversational Portuguese
- Availability to work weekends and adapt to the flow of café life
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience in
- paced brunch or specialty coffee environments - Familiarity with POS systems and basic reporting tools
- Training or HR experience
- Previous involvement in launching or improving hospitality concepts
