We are looking for a Restaurant Supervisor for Breakfast to join our Pre-Opening team at Andaz Lisbon.

Expected to open in Q4 2025, Andaz Lisbon will offer guests an exciting new luxury lifestyle hotel in the Portuguese capital. It will be a significant milestone in Hyatt’s brand growth in Southern Europe. Located in Lisbon’s bustling Baixa district along Rua Augusta, the hotel will comprise five buildings, including the historic Banco Português de Investimento (BPI). The central building will feature 170 guestrooms, with surrounding satellite buildings offering private suites. This Urban Resort will allow guests to immerse themselves in authentic Lisbon experiences.

About the role

The Breakfast Supervisor oversees the breakfast service, ensuring excellent guest experiences, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all breakfast service activities for efficiency and timeliness.
• Lead, train, and motivate the breakfast team to deliver exceptional service.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Monitor food preparation and presentation quality.
• Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally.
• Manage inventory and supplies for breakfast service.
• Assist in staff scheduling and organization.
• Report operational issues to management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area.
• Support overall food and beverage operations as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous supervisory experience in hospitality or food service preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure during busy periods.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Flexible availability for early morning hours.
