Purpose of the Role:
As a dedicated Reward Specialist in BCA Europe, you will play a pivotal role in building and implementing a foundational reward and benefits infrastructure across multiple European countries. This role is critical in developing structured, scalable, and compliant compensation frameworks. You will be responsible for leading the implementation of reward processes within a new HR system and ensuring compliance with the upcoming EU Pay Transparency Directive.
Key Responsibilities
Reward Strategy & Development
Design and implement BCA Europe’s structured reward and benefits framework, including salary structures, job levelling, and total reward strategies.
Lead the
-
- end annual reward cycle (merit, bonus, benchmarking) across countries.
Develop a roadmap to automate reward processes within the new HRIS (People System).
Manage and execute market benchmarking and job evaluations using survey providers (e. g. , WTW).
Provide expert input into compensation design, pay progression models, and grading structures.
Compliance & Governance
Lead the implementation and reporting processes for the EU Pay Transparency Directive.
Monitor, interpret, and ensure compliance with local legislation, including national minimum wage, gender pay reporting, and equal pay.
Establish reward governance and controls to maintain data integrity and mitigate risk.
Data & Analytics
Build data models to support reward analysis and
- making.
Maintain accurate and timely reward data, developing insights and dashboards (ideally in Power
BI).
Conduct internal and external benchmarking across all business units and roles.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with the CHRO and collaborate with the Finance teams.
Act as a trusted advisor to CHRO and senior stakeholders on all
- related matters.
Build strong relationships with Finance, Payroll, and external vendors.
Communication & Enablement
Create and deliver training and guidance to managers and HR colleagues on reward programs.
Develop clear and engaging communications around pay structures, total reward, and annual cycles.
Key Skills & Experience:
Essential:
Proven experience in reward or compensation roles, preferably in
- country or European settings.
Strong Excel/data modeling skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic formulas; Power
BI desirable).
Experience managing or supporting compensation cycles (e. g. , salary reviews, bonus calculations).
Strong numerical and analytical thinking with excellent attention to detail.
Good understanding of reward governance, compliance, and compensation regulations (especially EU Pay Directive).
Experience working with HRIS tools (preferably supporting system configuration for reward cycles).
High level of confidentiality, integrity, and stakeholder management.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English; other European languages are a plus.
Desirable
Experience using Willis Towers Watson (WTW) surveys or similar.
CIPD or Worldat
Work certification.
Experience launching reward strategies in
- up or
- maturity environments.
Familiarity with compensation technology implementation (e. g. , ADP, SAP Success
Factors, Workday, etc. )
