As the Risk & Control Specialist for Zurich Portugal, you will:

• Support the organization in the pursuit of its objectives while protecting capital, results and reputation, through the adequate risk management, in line with risk appetite.
• Support the organization to use technology safely and responsibly, ensuring that IT-related risks are understood, controlled, and do not hinder business goals.
• Ensure alignment between organizational objectives, risk and internal controls.
• Oversee theimplementation and operationof the internal control framework.
• Provide guidance, insights and risk advice on projects and initiatives in assigned area.
• Promote awareness and arisk cultureacross the organization.
• Lead
  - functional improvement projects ingovernance and compliance.

Qualifications and required profile:

• Strong background inrisk management and internal controls.
• Proven track record in control testing and governance framework.
• Experience in IFRS17and IT riskortechnology governanceis a plus.
• Excellent communication and project and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical mindset and proactive and solution driven.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese is a requirement spoken and written.
