We are looking for a Risk Officer to strengthen the Risk Department at Banco Finantia:

Main Responsibilities

• Join the financial risk team in executing the activity plan;
• Assess exposures to financial risks and ensure they remain within established limits;
• Produce and automate various regular financial risk monitoring reports, particularly for business areas and monthly for the Executive Committee;
• Conduct analyses to calibrate applicable risk metric limits and monitor valuations of the securities and derivatives portfolio;
• Participate in the maintenance and control of the Risk Appetite Framework (RAF);
• Contribute to the development of methodologies and calculation of results in ICAAP and ILAAP processes;
• Support the preparation of information for internal and external auditors, as well as regulators;
• Review procedures established within the Group for risk control and mitigation, proposing processes and control metrics;
• Regularly interact with international subsidiaries to ensure access to information and alignment of risk control procedures with Group standards;
• Continuously monitor legislation and guidelines related to risk management.

Desired Profile

• Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Management, Economics, or a related field;
• More than 3 years of experience in Financial Risk Management and 7–8 years of overall professional experience, preferably in the Banking sector;
• Knowledge of Risk Assessment Models;
• Familiarity with techniques and tools for handling large datasets;
• Solid understanding of Risk Management;
• Awareness of banking sector regulations, particularly in the area of Risk;
• Proficiency in software applications (MS Office, SAP, BO, Kondor, Midas) and programming languages (VB, SQL);
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required; Spanish is a plus;
• Critical thinking and proactivity;
• Strong sense of responsibility and commitment.
