Responsibilities

• Promote improvement of existing manufacturing processes, focusing on safety, quality and productivity gains.
• Study and propose improvements to tools and machines to enhance quality, safety, environment and production cost.
• Develop specifications for how a machine should be built (materials to be used) and its operation process.
• Collaborate with quality and safety technicians in the continuous improvement of these areas.

Qualifications

• Higher education in Engineering.
• 2‑3 years of experience in similar functions in the automotive sector (preferably).
• Training and experience in programming Siemens (TIA Portal / STEP 7), HMI, and/or Omron Sysmac Studio PLCs.
• Experience in programming industrial robots (preferably Kuka, but knowledge of Fanuc and Mitsubishi robots is valued).
• Solid knowledge of electrical schematics and their interpretation.
• Knowledge of the standards and main tools of Quality.
• Fluency in English and/or French.
• Good communication skills and interpersonal relationship.
• Proactive, dynamic, organized profile, with ability to work under stress and good analytical capacity.
