Purpose
- You are responsible for providing technical expertise to the offshore team and to other relevant departments. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives, ensuring effective management of technical resources and processes.
- You ensure the smooth execution of maintenance and repair scope by providing technical support to the maintenance team in defining the scope and parts and tools requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to the operating unit by developing actionable plans and assisting in management decisions.
- Offer technical recommendations to enhance operability, increase business revenue, protect equipment, and optimize control device performance while identifying and mitigating technical risks.
- Raise Technical Notes and Guidelines as a recognized Technical Expert.
- Support regulatory agency audits, internal audits, and client audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Contribute to Strategy and Governance by implementing best practices and following up on Class issues, regulatory requirements, and GTS.
- Drive the inventory of parts and tools, ensuring availability when needed.
- Support the elaboration of Technical Risk Assessments (TRA) and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for processes and systems.
- Assist in Start-Up and Shut-Down procedures, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
- Support Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and propose actionable plans to address identified issues.
- Manage the results of Predictive Maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and performance.

Education
- Mechanical Engineering graduation
- Vibration analysis certification is desired
- CREA active (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Arquitetura)
- (Architecture and Civil Engineering Regional Council)
Experience
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and repair, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Experience with failure analysis and root cause investigation techniques.
- Familiarity with SAP or other enterprise asset management systems.
- Good familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Experience working in a Shorebase environment.
