RTR Senior Transition
The RTR Transition, will play a critical role in the quality execution of the transition to the Global Business Services (GBS) model. This role focuses exclusively on ensuring the smooth migration of processes, mitigating risks, and driving alignment with the Target Operating Model (TOM). Will work closely with Global Process Owners (GPOs) and the transition team while becoming an expert on the TOM. This role facilitates collaboration between the transition team and GBS operations and ensures all aspects of the transition are executed efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Act as a dedicated resource to support transition activities, closely working with GPOs by becoming the main point of contact for all process transition and scoping topics.
- Develop expertise in the Target Operating Model (TOM), with a clear understanding of which activities should transition to GBS, BPO, or remain elsewhere.
- Participate in regular transition governance meetings, ensuring all risks and issues within the tower are fully visible to the transition team.
- Act as the go‑to expert for all Process Tower‑related processes, including invoicing, general ledger journal entries, Balance Sheet accounts reconciliation, internal controls/SOX and intercompany process.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Analyze metrics, KPIs, and trends to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead knowledge transfer activities in critical areas to mitigate risks identified during project execution.
- Support the completion and quality assurance of Desk Top Procedures (DTPs) with the GBS team, ensuring timelines and standards are met.
- Follow up on open points with operations after transition execution (e. g. , post‑TG5 tasks) and drive their resolution.
- Facilitate cooperation between the transition team and GBS Porto by acting as a central point of contact located within the Porto operations.
- Ensure seamless communication between stakeholders, addressing constraints and issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and the internal controls defined within the Target Operating Model (TOM) for the process tower.
- Collaborate with IT teams to optimize the use of Process Tower‑related systems.
- Identify opportunities for digital transformation within the process, including automation and analytics.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an RTR role, Experience in a Global Business Services environment.
- Experience with Oracle or another industry leading ERP a plus.
- Advanced English language.
