Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs using Ruby on Rails
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand API requirements
• Ensure API performance, scalability, and security
• Write clean, maintainable, and
  - tested code
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize API performance

Must-Haves

• 3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails
• Strong knowledge of API design patterns and best practices in Rails
• Understanding of HTTP protocols and JSON data structures
• Experience with relational databases (e. g. , Postgre
  SQL)
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively remotely
• Working hours mostly aligned with LATAM time zone, with a 4-hour overlap with MDT; for Europe-based candidates, at least 2 hours overlap with MDT

Nice to Haves

• Experience with background job processing (e. g. , Sidekiq)
• Familiarity with API documentation tools (Swagger/Open
  API)
• Experience with Docker or similar container technologies
• Experience working with distributed teams
