Job Description:

JC Aircraft Maintenance is an engineering services company supporting Ryanair’s engineering function in Portugal.

JCAM is currently recruiting Safety and Standard Assistant to be based in Porto (OPO), Portugal.

Ryanair has a unique opportunity in our SPMFB Region Safety Services Office for a Safety and Standard Assistant. You will work as part of a team with responsibility for Ryanair's
- leading safety record.

As our Safety and Standard Assistant you will be responsible for developing statistical analysis within our team and analyzing reporting data for trends related to hazards, events, and occurrences.

• Managing internal safety reporting systems;
  
  
  
  
• Investigating and reviewing maintenance errors in aircraft incidents due to technical reasons;
  
  
  
  
• Investigating and reviewing events and occurrences with a potential impact on the safety of the Ryanair Group operation;
  
  
  
  
• Tracking Safety
  Performance Indicators (SPIs);
  
  
  
  
• Reviewingand monitoring the Allowable Levels of Safety Performance (ALOSP), as directed by the Safety Manager, as part of SMS Safety Assurance requirements;
  
  
  
  
• Ensuring accurate input and retention of data;
  
  
  
  
• Escalating Safety Reports as appropriate, providing report summaries and
  - identifying them as applicable;
  
  
  
  
• Recognizing andpromoting hazard reporting and ensuring an effective safety reporting process.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Engineering Degree in Aeronautics, Mechanics or related field is valued;
  
  
  
  
• Highly organized individual with the ability to balance multiple priorities and hit tight deadlines;
  
  
  
  
• Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office;
  
  
  
  
• Good communication skills in English, Spanish is a plus;
  
  
  
  
• Previous experience within compliance or safety is valued but not mandatory.
