Safety Model Operations Quality Assurance - Russian (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

Responsibilities

• Our Trust & Safety team's commitment is to keep our online community safe. We have invested heavily in human and
  - based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.
• Take ownership of the quality success of internal or external stakeholders, identify and clear blockers to high performance, and support the team in their drive for excellence. Participate in performance monitoring and provide crucial reporting to relevant stakeholders, contributing to the success and growth of the teams.
• Work with
  - functional (XFN) teams to identify project needs. Navigate ambiguous situations and set clear SMART goals for yourself and the teams.
• Own the role, suggest process improvements, and help develop a
  - practice methodology for the QA role.
• Deliver high performance standards across projects, facilitate regular calibration meetings, and provide feedback on implementation and execution.
• Disseminate policy updates and knowledge to teams, and ensure timely communication of policy questions among internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform daily audits, analyze errors, and provide feedback to the relevant teams. Compile and deliver regular performance data reports to SME and management as required.
• Conduct regular RCA escalations through the appropriate processes and identify areas for performance improvement across markets, delivering proactive solutions.
• Participate in or lead policy briefings to ensure alignment with local cultural,
  - political conditions. Balance task delivery with platform workflows, and backfill gaps in market support as needed.
• Support the onboarding team to develop onboarding training SOPs and materials, and contribute to ongoing legacy planning. Engage in queue moderation or knowledge quizzes to maintain policy implementation skills.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of a training plan within the project timeline.
• Note: This role involves exposure to sensitive content including vulgar content, violence, pornography, and fake news.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year QA or relevant experience in trust and safety or policy in a major tech or media company.
• Ability to understand business needs, think strategically, and make good decisions in complex situations.
• Familiar with labeling workflows and the upstream/downstream teams’ operating modes.
• High proficiency in Russian (oral and written) and English as the working language.
• Comfortable reporting to or collaborating with a broad range of
  - functional partners. Fast learner with the ability to thrive in a
  - paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a short video product or
  - focused industry.
• Experience in Content Moderation/Content Quality/Content Safety/Labeling; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite; and exposure to machine learning and content understanding.
• Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
