Your role in our team
This position offers a unique opportunity to gain
- on experience in environmental and health & safety. The Management Systems & QEH&S Engineer will actively contribute to developing a QEH&S culture that values and promotes a quality, safe, and healthy working and living environment. The role involves acting as a behavior change agent within the organization, ensuring continuous improvement across the company.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the QEH&S Management, including workplace visits, project assessments, hazard identification, risk assessment and control, documentation management, training needs identification, and environmental aspects and impacts evaluation per project/site. Support the preparation and validation of EH&S Plans.
- Ensure
- up on issues related to quality, environment, and safety in projects. - Collaborate with various business areas/departments to ensure
- up and continuous improvement of the QEH&S management system and alignment with standards. - Investigate incidents and accidents at work and define action plans.
- Define appropriate PPE for tasks.
- Implement fire safety measures, including detection and extinction systems, emergency equipment training, and drills.
- Provide training in QEH&S areas.
- Participate in QEH&S audit activities as needed.
- Ensure compliance with legal provisions on environment and safety.
- Develop methodologies and implement actions for environmental risk assessment and impact evaluation.
- Ensure compliance with legal obligations and internal/external regulations.
- Support the development of reports and management information analysis.
Your Profile
- Degree in Engineering
- Certified Health & Safety Officer
- Technical competencies in Occupational Safety and Health, including Risk Assessment, Hazard Identification, Safety Management Systems, Emergency Preparedness, PPE, Training, and Accident Investigation
- Preferably, Pedagogical Competences Certificate (PCC)
- Proficiency in English
- Strong interest in occupational safety
- Excellent attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Enjoyment of exciting tasks in a
