About the Position
Job Summary
The Sales Applications Specialist will be responsible for sales, promotion, and technical support to customers to ensure the optimal performance of reagents and instruments. The role involves providing solutions tailored to customer needs, building trust, and creating
- term value for the company.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure compliance with the Ethical Code.
- Promote Werfen solutions and advise customers to improve lab organization.
- Focus on "Value Selling".
- Perform demonstrations and build trust in our solutions.
- Keep clients updated on new techniques, provide product information, and organize visits.
- Train customers and ensure correct solution performance.
- Provide troubleshooting for technical inquiries.
- Resolve product incidents in coordination with specialists and manufacturing.
- Install equipment with Technical Service.
- Follow up with clients to identify growth opportunities.
- Control service levels across departments for assigned accounts.
- Manage a budget and seek new business opportunities.
- Handle technical profitability calculations.
- Interpret tender documents and prepare technical documentation in collaboration with KAM and the Business Unit.
- Organize visits with Product Managers.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences
- Experience: Laboratory experience in molecular biology, IVD market, sales, and/or marketing
- Additional Skills: Knowledge in molecular microbiology, autoimmunity; proficient in MS Office and SAP; fluency in English; basic oral Spanish preferred.
